WHAT WE BELIEVE....

It stands apart from all other religious writings. The Bible alone is inspired by God and as such it is true, without error, and the final authority on all matters it addresses.   True success in this life and our hope for the next life are found within its pages. 

Uniqueness of Jesus:

He stands apart from every person who has ever lived. He is the only Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross in full payment for our sins, physically rose from the dead three days later, and will soon return again. 

Uniqueness of Man: 

He stands apart from the rest of creation. Man is not merely an animal in a higher stage of development, but a being created in the image of God with an eternal spirit and the moral capacity to choose between right and wrong. Man’s choice to rebel against God (which the Bible calls sin) introduced death, disease, and suffering into our world and continues to ruin lives today. Yet despite man’s sin, he is still the object of God’s love and mercy.

Uniqueness of the Gospel:

It stands apart from every religious system in the world. Man cannot, through any behavior or activity on his part, make amends for the sins he has committed. The penalty for that sin is death. Yet God in His mercy sent His Son, Jesus Christ to come and die in our place on the cross of Calvary. Anyone who will repent of their sins, recognize His sacrificial death and resurrection, and receive His gift of salvation will be saved. This good news of salvation, then, is both inclusive and exclusive. It is inclusive in that is offered to everyone regardless of age, race, gender, or social status. Yet it is exclusive in that it is found only through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
